Description: Hello everyone, I did this lo tonight for a contest on BBTB. See link http://regina-bittenbythebug.blogspot.com/2009/03/contest-time.html
You had to have an inspiration from the necklace that is made by Theresa Martin, a San Diego-based jewelry designer who creates unique handcrafted silver, brass, and gemstone jewelry designs. I especially enjoy creating one-of-a kind pieces with sterling silver and a colorful mix of gemstones and beads. So I was inspired when I saw the beautiful pieces of jewelry. Here is the cricut cuts, Title You better Believe it cut from Tink and Friends at 2 1/4. She's ALL That cut from graphically Speaking cut at 1 1/4, and 1 1/2. The leaves are cut from Accents essentials at 1/2, 3/4, and 1. The flourish was cut from Home Accents at 5 then used as a filer behind the flowers. The flowers are just ones I had forever...... The silver flowers are Jolee's. The bird is Maya Road felt, the butterfly came from Wal-Mart . The pp is MM, and the rhinestones. The pic is of Amanda when she was 1, now she will be 16 in a few days. TFL!!!!

1. one silver heart charm-I used to make the lock on the journal painting a keyhole on the back to look like a lock.
2. one skein of ecru embroidery floss-I used to bind the back of the journal and on the bear claw necklace and on the buttons.
3. Fifteen assorted buttons-made into a half circle like a trail and then hand sewed to page w/embroidery floss.
4.Five pink confetti hearts-I cut in half and painted white to make a bear claw and then strung all ten pieces on the embroidery floss (the necklace was tea dyed).
5.One map page-cut to shape then balled up and tea dyed and inked..used for the map of the trails.
6. One manilla tabbed index divider- folded in half with the tab on(which gave the thickness) and inked and distressed to give it a leather look and then binded with embroidery floss using a book binders stitch.
7. One tea bag-first iI opened up the bag and removed some for the dirt under the covered wagon wheels and then used a tea ball and warmed water and then allowed to cool and soaked the ecru embroidery floss used for bear claw necklace and in the white button tie off.
8. Two shipping tags with wire-Used in the title of Happy Trails and the tabs in the journal for lift and the wire to make the name Cody on the journal.

Using a sketch from Beckie Dreyer , Please check it out..They also now have a store so if you can't find the paper you are looking for from RP check it out:
http://rustypickle.com/ I know several times I had a hard time finding certain packs of pp from RP......which I have been a big fan of for sometime now.
I used Anna Caughlin's RP767, Kitty O'Shea's RP 766, The Emerald Rose RP765, Fitzpatrick's RP768, Irish Brigade RP 769,and Nine Fine Irishmen RP770, The word Lucky came from one of the cardstock coupons CC10, The Challenge was to use the sketch, use RP rub-ons which you can see I did, may I add they do slide on like butter!!! The two hearts are also RP rub-ons above us in the pic. The buttons are also RP, and the Beautiful overlay is RP. The Journaling is behind the pic with a RP tab to pull out.
A wee Bit a Heaven dropped from above this precious little angel I call Dusty who was chosen for me to be his mother.
